Disclaimer: GGPoker is not yet live in the United States. This review is speculative based on what we expect when the poker site makes its debut in Pennsylvania.
Despite having an imposing presence in the European and Asian online poker markets, GGPoker is just introducing itself to US audiences. Soon players located in the state of Pennsylvania will have access to the poker site, which launched overseas in 2014.
To welcome its new US players, GGPoker is offering a welcome promotion, a 100% deposit match up to $600. Alternately, you can receive up to $50 in rewards with just a $20 deposit. Keep scrolling to find out how.
GGPoker PA sign up bonus
New account holders at GGPoker can choose from one of two welcome bonuses:
Matched deposit bonus: Probably the promotion type that you are most familiar with — GGPoker will match your deposit dollar for dollar up to a maximum of $600. This means that if you deposit $400, you’ll receive a matching $400 bonus. As you might imagine, there is a playthrough requirement similar to other poker sites.
You’ll unlock $5 in matched rewards money for each $20 that you spend in tournament fees or rake at cash games. Crunching the numbers on this, you would need to pay $1,600 in fees in order to unlock the entire $400 bonus in our example. This could be a little difficult for infrequent or casual players, but dedicated grinders should be able to accomplish this within the allotted three months.
$50 in rewards money: If you don’t feel like grinding for 90 days for your bonus, you have another option when depositing on GGPoker. If you deposit a minimum of $20, you can opt to receive $50. The $50 is awarded in the form of tickets for GGPoker’s “All In or Fold” poker variant. You will receive the tickets in your GGPoker account over a six-day period after you make that initial $20 deposit.

Is GGPoker safe?
No need to worry about security when you play at GGPoker. Just like competing online poker sites, GGPoker is required to comply with all relevant and applicable security measures in the state where it operates.
It is heavily regulated and monitored on a daily basis. In fact, GGPoker takes its security especially seriously. It does not permit any third-party software, since this may help players gain an unfair advantage. And lastly, GGPoker works with an independent testing lab called BMM that certifies that the hands are generated randomly.
Games available at GGPoker Pennsylvania
Here are some of the options you can expect to play on the GGPoker site:
Cash games
For decades now, Texas Hold’em and Omaha have been the two most popular poker variants in the United States. GGPoker recognizes this, and those are the only two cash games that it offers. This helps ensure a steady and reliable flow of players to the table, since they are not siphoned off by less popular variants.
Even though there are only two variants available for cash games (at the time of writing), the action runs around the clock and you can always find a full table to sit down at whenever you log on. The blinds for Hold’em start at $0.01/$0.02 and go as high at $5/$10 no limit. And if you’re looking for even more action, check out the fast-fold variant called “Rush and Cash.” As soon as you fold a hand, you’re whisked away to a new table with a new hand to play.
GGPoker tournaments
Despite a comparatively limited cash game presence, GGPoker really shines when it comes to its tournament offerings. It offers a number of heavily frequented tourneys, 24 hours a day. Here are just a few of the competitions that you’ll find on a regular basis:
- Sit and go’s: Single table tournaments, running 24/7. Once your table fills up, the cards fly.
- Daily multi-table tournaments: Hold’em tournaments with guaranteed prize pools, running every day. Always the most populated of tournament options.
- Spin & Gold: A fast-paced three-player sit and go variant, with randomly determined prize amounts.
- Beat the Pros: Running each Saturday, this is a $210 bounty tournament. If you knock out one of the designated “pros,” you will earn a ticket for a $5,000 freeroll tourney.
- Omaholic: Omaha tournaments starting every hour, all day long. Buy-ins start at $1.
- GGMasters: A weekly freezeout tournament series where you can win your share of a weekly prize pool of at least $2.5 million

GGPoker app mobile compatibility
The GGPoker app is available for desktop players as well as mobile players who prefer to play on the go. The mobile experience does not sacrifice any of the features or graphics that make the desktop version so great.

GGPoker software
Opening up the GGPoker program yields an onslaught of illustrations, graphics and animations. Although this can be a bit overwhelming, the software actually runs surprisingly deep and is easy to navigate once you get oriented.
The poker games are very well organized, and it is easy and quick to find a table. Once you’re on the felt, you’ll be presented with a simple, but very informational, graphical interface. This also lends itself very well to multi-tabling, and you can perform functions such as straddling and quick-folding with ease. If there is any drawback to the software, it is that its security restrictions do not permit any third-party programs. If you are a player who likes to use a program that tracks and analyzes every hand you play, you may be better off looking elsewhere.
GGPoker payment methods

It won’t charge a withdrawal fee, but check with your payment processor to make sure that it does not take a percentage. A standard 24- to 72-hour waiting period will apply when taking funds out (so that GGPoker can verify and process the transaction), but generally speaking, the process is smooth and uncomplicated. Here are the ways you can withdraw from the site:

Customer support at GGPoker PA
If there is one place where GGPoker falls a little short, it is with its customer support options. Given that the site is primarily based overseas in Europe and Asia, American players may find it somewhat difficult to get customer service on demand. Currently, there is no 24-hour help service like a phone number or live chat. The current options are restricted to the following:
- General support email address: [email protected]
- Cashier support email address: [email protected]
- Help section: GGPoker actually has a relatively robust FAQ and help section on its main webpage. This is a good resource that may help you resolve your issue even without speaking directly to a live representative.
History of GGPoker
The GGNetwork (a nickname for “Good Game Network”) first came into existence in 2014. It originally placed its focus on the expanding Chinese and Southeast Asian markets. Once it realized success in that arena, it expanded to Canada and various European countries in 2016 and 2017. Finally, in 2021, changes to laws in some American states permitted online poker to begin operating stateside. GGPoker expanded into Pennsylvania in 2021, becoming one of the first such sites in the Keystone State.
GGPoker summary
As a fairly new face in the US, GGPoker’s product is surprisingly polished and complete. Its software is buttery smooth, with some of the most exciting and fun graphics of any of the online poker platforms currently operating. Tables are always full, despite limited cash offerings, and you can find a fun and exciting tournament when you want to switch things up. Overall, this is a very promising start for the burgeoning American online poker operator, and GGPoker should become one of the premier destinations for players in the coming years.
