covers the legislative efforts to regulate online poker and casino games in Pennsylvania. On Oct. 26, 2017, Pennsylvania moved a huge step forward on the path to offering legal, real money online poker and casino games when the PA House passed H 271, a comprehensive gaming expansion package.

Then, on Oct. 30, PA Gov. Tom Wolf signed H 271 into law, making online casino and online poker games officially legal in Pennsylvania.

Pennsylvania will be to be the third state to legalize online casinos and fourth to legalize online poker. Delaware and New Jersey already offer safe, regulated online casino and poker games. Nevada spreads just online poker. The same gaming commissions that oversee the state’s brick-and-mortar casinos regulate the legal gaming sites. looks forward to monitoring the continued progress toward legal PA online gaming, which is predicted to go live in the second part of 2018.
