Colin Cowherd’s Blazin’ Five morphed into the Freezin’ Five.

He’s had back-to-back 1-4 weekends. To pile on the pain, Cowherd’s “lock/favorite” picks failed to deliver three weeks in a row.

Three of his Blazin’ 5 picks need to cover for Pennsylvania sports bettors using FOX Bet Sportsbook to double their money with FOX Bet’s odds boost. Cowherd and bettors who choose to follow his picks have been burned recently.

Still, he chooses to play with fire.

For Cowherd college football picks, he has yet to graduate to the win column. He is 0-10. All three of his Marquee 3 Super Boost choices have to be correct for sports bettors in PA to cash at +800 instead of +600.

Coming off his worst week of the season where he only picked one winner, Cowherd is looking for a spark to get the fires blazing again.

Each week we track all of Cowherd’s picks so you can know how he is faring before you follow his bets on your PA sports betting apps.

Cowherd’s college football Week 11 picks

Here are Cowherd’s Marquee 3 Super Boost college football picks for college football’s Week 11.

“I feel great about my picks. I’m going with the favorites,” he says about this week’s selections which feature, to his credit, marquee matchups.

#4 Penn State (-7) vs. #17 Minnesota

Colin’s pick: Penn State

Colin’s final score: Penn State 28, Minnesota 20

Cowherd said: “I do realize it’s probably the biggest game for the Golden Gophers in about a decade. But Penn State’s defense is one of the top two or three defenses in the country. Penn State is 2-0 against ranked opponents this year. They’ve won eight of their last nine road games. Minnesota has played one of the easiest schedules in the country. Not only that, they’ve been very lucky. They’ve faced nothing but backup quarterbacks since Week 2. They haven’t faced a top fifty team this year and historically, this is a big step up in class for them.”

Actual final score: Minnesota 31, Penn State 26

#16 Kansas State vs. TExas (-7)

Colin’s pick: Texas

Colin’s final score: Texas 34, Kansas State  24

Cowherd said: “The Longhorns are coming off a bye. Tom Herman coming off a bye is is 10-2 for his career. Sam Ehlinger is a very good quarterback for Texas. He stunk against TCU. Worst game of his career. But at home he is fantastic, 70% completions, 340 yards a game. He’s back home, he’s comfortable. Texas is third in third-down offense. They are going to control the clock. They are also getting back their best running back. Two guys in the secondary back. Nothing against Kansas State. Nice upset win over Oklahoma. Texas off a bye at home against the Kansas Stat offense that stinks, Texas wins and covers.

Actual final score: Texas 27, Kansas State 24

#2 LSU vs. #3 ALABAMA (-6.5)

Colin’s pick: Alabama

Colin’s final score: Alabama 32, LSU 20

Cowherd said: “Bama has won eight straight meetings. This series is really about Nick Saban. When he was at LSU, he won four out of five. At Alabama, he’s won ten out of thirteen against LSU. Off a bye, he’ll beat Ed Orgeron. The last three times these guys have played, LSU averages three points a game. Joe Burrow has been really, really good but it’s not like these are wild crazy passing concepts. They just moved out of the Stone Age throwing the ball for the first time in two decades. LSU’s defense I do not trust. On the road they are allowing almost thirty points a game. Whose defense do you trust and what coach do you trust? Tua is going to get drafted ahead of Joe Burrow. If he is healthy, I trust him too. Alabama, more than LSU, takes the ball away. They’ve got 18 takeaways this year.”

Actual final score: LSU 46, Alabama 41

Did Colin win? No

Week 11 college football record: 0-3

Season college football overall record: 9-24

Marquee 3 Super Boost record (requires winning all three games): 0-11

Colin Cowherd’s Week 10 NFL picks

Here are Cowherd’s Blazin’ 5 picks for  Week 10.

New York Giants vs. New York Jets (+3)

Colin’s pick: Jets

Colin’s final score: Jets 30, Giants 24

Cowherd said: “Two bad teams playing in the same stadium. The Giants are on a five-game losing streak. Daniel Jones has lost all confidence. Don’t go crazy on Sam Darnold. He was 27-39 last week, had one ugly pick but he moved the ball. He played pretty well last week except for a terrible pick. The Giants since Week 5 are a mess. They are last in everything, points allowed, yards-per-play. They’ve allowed thirty points in five games this year. Only Tampa has allowed more. The turnovers are brutal. Twenty-two, most in the NFL. I get a field goal and the better quarterback. Finally, it looks like Darnold has a full array of offensive pieces.”

Actual final score: Jets 34, Giants 27

Did Colin win? Yes

Arizona Cardinals (+5) vs. Tampa Bay Buccaneers

Colin’s pick: Cardinals

Colin’s final score: Cardinals 28, Buccaneers 26

Cowherd said: “Like it? I love it. I think Arizona is the better team. I think they’ve played a really tough schedule. All five of their losses are all to teams .500 or better. Despite having a rookie quarterback, rookie coach, and bad offensive line they have the fewest turnovers in the NFL with four. Kyler doesn’t have a pick in his last 172 attempts. It’s the longest active streak in the NFL. Tampa has the worst pass defense in the league. They’ve had a brutal schedule. Arizona has ten days rest.”

Actual final score: Buccaneers 30, Cardinals 27

Did Colin win? Yes

Carolina Panthers (+4.5) vs. Green Bay packers

Colin’s pick: Panthers

Colin’s final score: “Green Bay in a close win.”

Cowherd said: “I think Green Bay is good but flawed. I think Carolina is good but average at quarterback but I get 4.5 points. Carolina leads the NFL with 34 sacks. You saw what the Chargers defensive front did to Green Bay’s offensive line. Carolina’s going to get pressure. The Packers have the youngest defense in the NFL. It has dropped off from its impressive start. Kyle Allen has been exceptionally in the Red Zone because he’s got Christian McCaffrey and Greg Olsen is an above-average tight end and I like their two receivers.”

Actual final score: Packers 24, Panthers 16

Did Colin win? No

Los Angeles Rams (-4) vs. Pittsburgh Steelers

Colin’s pick: Rams

Colin’s final score: Rams 28, Steelers 20

Cowherd said: “Like it? I love it. Sean McVay has had his way with the weaker AFC. Outside of the Super Bowl he’s 10-0. He’s off a bye. Their defense, since the acquisition of Jalen Ramsey, has been playing top-five defense. Jared Goff, his November numbers in the last couple years, are all-time stuff. The Rams are on a two-game winning streak and held both of their opponents to ten points each. The Steelers struggle. Mason Rudolph, pop-gun arm.”

Actual final score: Steelers 17, Rams 12

Did Colin win? No

*Be careful when Cowherd uses the “l” word (love or lock).

Week 9: Cowherd went with the Browns (-3.5) as one of his bets of the year and predicted a blowout. The Broncos won 24-19.

For Week 8, Cowherd’s “favorite pick of the week” Carolina (+6) turned into a laugher for those who choose to fade Cowherd and for the 49ers, who cruised to a 51-13 win.

For Week 7, his “lock pick of the year,” the Giants (-3) turned out to be a loser.

Seattle Seahawks vs. San Francisco 49ers (-6.5)

Colin’s pick: 49ers

Colin’s final score: 49ers 31, Seahawks 23

Cowherd said: “I might be from Seattle but I like the 49ers minus 6.5. I think Seattle’s defense…Pete Carroll is doing it with Bobby Wagner and Bondo. They are near the bottom in total defense, pass defense. They’ve become incredibly Russell Wilson-dependent. That’s why I make him my MVP. They 49ers are number one in total pass and red zone defense. They are also getting both their offensive tackles back and their fullback that they use like New England.”

Actual Final Score: Seahawks 27, 49ers 24

Did Colin win? No

Blazin’ 5 Week 10 record: 2-3

Blazin’ 5 overall record: 26-23-1
