Atlantic City Almighty stack hits this May

Players in New Jersey are gearing up for a highly anticipated event happening at the Borgata in May. After being on hiatus due to the pandemic, the renowned live tournament “The Almighty” will be returning to Atlantic City from May 7-13. The casino will partner with BetMGM Poker for the series. 

“BetMGM is excited to continue to partner with Borgata Poker to give players another chance to play at the East Coast’s premier poker destination,” said Luke Staudenmaier, director of poker at BetMGM. 

The tournament boasts a payout guarantee of $1 million, requiring an $800 buy-in and starting stack of 100,000 chips, which is one of the largest available in any live Hold’em tournament across the nation. Day one flights will be held from May 7-10, with day two commencing on May 11 at 11 a.m.
