Valley Forge Casino just announced some good news for night owls in the greater Philadelphia/Montgomery County area.

Beginning today, Jan. 20, the casino floor will remain open 24 hours a day, says a new Valley Forge Casino press release.

Visitors to the King of Prussia casino could already play slots and table games into the early morning hours, but the fun stopped at 4 or 5 a.m. With the new change, the casino’s 850 slot machines will remain open while the table games take a time-out for a few hours early in the day.

The hours for the FanDuel Sportsbook located on site won’t change. It will still close at midnight every day.

  • Sunday – Thursday: 10:00 a.m. – 4:00 a.m.
  • Friday & Saturday: 10:00 a.m. – 5:00 a.m.

  • Every day: 10:00 a.m. – Midnight

Continued industry growth fueled the change at Valley Forge

As reported by PlayPennsylvania, PA casinos have invested millions of dollars in renovations and new offerings since the pandemic-caused shutdowns of 2020. Casinos are making moves, hoping to drive revenue back to pre-2020 levels. Some casinos have succeeded in getting table games or slots revenue back up, while others lag in their recovery.

But the success so far seems to show that the demand for live casino gaming is there. In addition, PA posted a total gaming revenue record in 2022, at $5.2 billion.

According to Valley Forge, they’re seeing the demand too. The casino’s media contact, Liz Mirra, told PAOnlineCasino,

“This move comes as a result of consistent demand from customers, and showcases the health and vitality of Valley Forge Casino Resort’s business as well as the greater forward trajectory of the casino/gaming industry post-covid.”

After all, PA’s gaming industry is robust and mature, second only to Nevada’s in terms of revenue generated.
