The Pennsylvania poker scene is feasting with some big tournaments on the horizon this month. The poker scene has a full plate of options ready to be served up this month. 

Each month PAOnlineCasino showcases all the highlights on the poker tournament scene across the Keystone State. 

Rivers Philadelphia $200,000 Ultra Rush

Rivers Casino Philadelphia decided to up the ante for November. After a successful Big Rush event at Rivers Philadelphia in October, the casino is going bigger in November. They recently announced the $200,000 guaranteed Ultra Rush. The $1,100 Big Rush buy-in is a multi-day event that starts on Nov. 17 and will have four starting flights. All flights combine and play on Nov. 20.  

Besides the Ultra Rush series, Rivers Philadelphia will host multiple daily tournaments throughout the month that include:

  • Mondays: $130 NLH Double Green Chip Bounty- 7:15 p.m. – $4,000 guarantee
  • Tuesdays: $130 NLH – 6:15 p.m. – $6,000 guarantee
  • Wednesdays: $50 NLH – 10:15 a.m. – no guarantee ( 50+ to buy-in)
  • Saturdays: $160 NLH – 1:15 a.m. – $5,000 guarantee (except Nov. 19)
  • Sundays: $230 NLH – 11:15 a.m. – $10,000 guarantee (Except Nov. 20)

Rivers will also host a $50,000 Freeroll tournament event on Nov. 13. To qualify, players must play a minimum of 100 hours of cash poker before Nov. 10.

Rivers ran a popular Mystery Bounty event in the beginning of October and had a massive turnout. 

Philadelphia Live! Casino hosts MegaStacks!

Live! Casino Poker Room has a solid tournament planned for November. . The Megastacks $150,000 tournament will take place starting on Nov. 17. Over a three day period, players have five starting flights to pick from at Live!. Day 2 will happen on Nov. 20.

The tournament is a $150,000 guaranteed tournament. Additional details include:

  • $500 buy-in
  • 30 minute levels
  • 40,000 start stack
  • Reentry until level 9

In October the casino hosted its first ever PokerStars Platinum Pass live tournament. Rishva Iyer was the winner of the women’s event and secured a seat in the $25,000 Player’s Championship this January.

The poker room will host a daily tournament each day. Weekly events include:

  • Mondays: $130 NLH Triple Stacks 7:15 p.m. – $4,000 guaranteed (except 11/14) 
  • Tuesday: $120 NLH Fat Stacks- 7:15 p.m. –  $4,000 guaranteed 
  • Wednesdays: $140 NLH Quadstacks – 11:15 a.m. – $3,000 guaranteed 
  • Thursdays: $140 NLH Quadstacks 11:15 a.m. – $3,000 guaranteed (except 11/17 & 11/24)
  • Fridays: $250 NLH Bounty – 11:15 a.m. – $8,000 guaranteed (except 11/18)
  • Saturdays: Varying tournaments each week
  • Sundays: $130 NLH Triple Stacks Turbo – 6:15 p.m. 

Rivers Pittsburgh doubles down

Rivers Casino Pittsburgh will host two deepstack events this month.The $500 deep stack will take place on Nov. 12  at 11 a.m.. Another deepstack event will occur on Nov. 26, also at 11 a.m. Seating is limited and registration is open one week prior to the event. 

The poker room also offers other promotions such as:

  • Rolling Royal Jackpots
  • Bad Beat Jackpots ( $151,002 as of Nov. 1)
  • High Hands ( $96,000 to be given away in November)

Live! Pittsburgh offers weekly games

Live! Pittsburgh is back to the grind this month. Players can expect daily events each week. 

Here’s a quick look at their November schedule:

  • Sunday: $80 NLH Bankroll Builder – 2:15 p.m.
  • Monday: no regular daily event (High Hand cash promos)
  • Tuesday: $120 NLH Bounty Fat Stacks – 11:15 a.m.
  • Wednesdays: $80 NLH Bankroll Builder – 6:15 p.m.
  • Fridays: $130 NLH Triple Stacks Turbo – 6:15 p.m.
  • Saturdays: $200 NLH Double Green Chip Bounty – 11:15 a.m. 

In October, the casino also hosted a Platinum Pass PokerStars event. This was their biggest live event to date.

The Garden State currently only has three poker rooms available. Out of those three only Borgata Hotel Casino & Spa currently offers weekly tournaments. The following three Atlantic City casinos offer 24/7 cash games:

Borgata hosting major event in January

In November Borgata will host a $1,500 buy-in that comes with a $150,000 guaranteed prize pool. This two day event will take place starting on Nov. 18. 

The Borgata website also announced a “Return Series” this January. It will include the following events:

  •  Jan. 2-3: $2,200 NLH Mystery Bounty – $1 M guaranteed 
  • Jan. 4-8: $5,300 NLH Borgata Championships- $3 M guaranteed 
  • Jan. 7-8: $1,100 NLH Survivor – $100,000 guaranteed
