Colin Cowherd is 13-12 in his Blazin’ 5 picks through five weeks of the 2022 NFL season after going 2-3 each of the last three weeks.

Week 6 gives Cowherd a chance to reverse his recent trend and keep his winning record. But will he do it?

Cowherd releases his five picks at 1 p.m. ET every Friday on his show, The Herd, and we provide his picks and analysis for the week. We’ll also be looking into other industry experts’ choices in order to give you more opinions on this week’s slate of games.

Colin Cowherd Blazin’ 5 Week 6 NFL picks

“Outside of Baltimore, I like underdogs this week.”

Baltimore Ravens (-6) at New York Giants

Cowherd pick: Ravens

Final score prediction: Ravens 28, Giants 20

Cowherd said:

“Like it? I love it. The Ravens are one of two teams – Philly’s the other one – that have led by at least 10 points in every game. Their offense has been spectacular. Lamar’s running, he’s passing. It’s amazing. They don’t spend much money on receivers, but they’re top five in virtually everything.”

“The Giants are coming off a 14-point comeback win against the Packers. I think they’re bound to come down a little. It was a nice win against Green Bay, but I don’t think Green Bay’s very good, and I think Baltimore’s exceptional. I think the Giants pull back; I love Baltimore in this spot -6.”

Final Score: Giants 24, Ravens 20

New York Jets (+7) at Green Bay Packers

Cowherd pick: Jets

Final score prediction: Jets 28, Packers 27

Cowherd said:

“Jets are off back-to-back wins, 2-0 on the road. I like them here +7. Robert Saleh’s defense is playing hard and with passion, but it’s the rookies that are all contributing.”

“What happened to the Packers’ defense, by the way? What happened to it? I loved it coming into the season. They’ve disappointed everywhere. I think the Jets go in, they’re real, they’ve got firepower, and they upset Green Bay. This number may go to 7.5. You can bet it up.”

Final Score: Jets 27, Packers 10

Did Colin Cowherd Win? Yes

San Francisco 49ers at Atlanta Falcons (+5.5)

Cowherd pick: Falcons

Final score prediction: 49ers 24, Falcons 23

Cowherd said:

“I actually think this is gonna be a nail-biter. Falcons +5.5 is my play. Arthur Smith is a very clever coach. They’re a top-10 scoring offense in the league. Did you know they have 37 big plays offensively? And you don’t think they have any talent. They’re a top-three rushing offense.”

“And the Niners are falling apart. Bosa out, Kinlaw out, Armstead out. Emmanuel Moseley out, Jimmie Ward out. Forget Elijah Mitchell and Trent Williams. San Francisco is running out of healthy bodies.”

Final Score: Falcons 28, 49ers 14

Did Colin Cowherd Win? Yes

Tampa Bay Buccaneers at Pittsburgh Steelers (+8.5)

Cowherd pick: Steelers

Final score prediction: Buccaneers 27, Steelers 21

Cowherd said:

“I’ve got one rule: if you get humiliated in the NFL, I almost always take you the following week. I’m taking the Steelers +8.5. It’s a bounce-back spot.”

“Hey, by the way, you can all bang on Kenny Pickett. Last week against Buffalo, he had 34 completions in the wind, 327 yards and three plays over 20 yards. I like Pickett. He just got overwhelmed.”

“And the Bucs’ offense is the second-worst running offense in the league. So, even if Tampa takes a lead, they can’t run it and eat the clock. Atlanta had a chance to beat them in the end, and Atlanta was dominated by Tampa. I like the Steelers a lot here, +8.5. They don’t win, 27-21 [Bucs], but it’s a very competitive football game.”

Final Score: Steelers 20, Buccaneers 18

Did Colin Cowherd Win? Yes

Arizona Cardinals at Seattle Seahawks (+2.5)

Cowherd pick: Seahawks

Final score prediction: Seahawks 28, Cardinals 23

Cowherd said:

“I don’t even understand this line. Seahawks +2.5, I’ll take it all day. They’re scoring a bunch of points. Seahawks are converting on 48% of third downs. That’s top three in the league. Offensively, what do you want me to say? Points, yards, big plays, all of it.”

“Meanwhile, the Cardinals are the worst first-half team in the league. What does it mean? Division rival, playing behind. I haven’t bet the Seahawks in a while, I like them in this spot. I think, right now, they’re playing great football early in games. They jump out to leads, [but] the question is, can they hold on? Because Arizona’s been a very good fourth-quarter team.”

Final Score: Seahawks 19, Cardinals 9
