Life can change in an instant. And that holds true for the PA Lottery, where million-dollar jackpots can appear in a matter of moments. Evidence of that arrived again this month, with two lottery players from Pennsylvania claiming $3 million jackpots.

One player took home the windfall thanks to the $3 Million Xtreme Tripler scratch-off ticket. The player purchased the ticket at North Side Beer and Beverage in Pittsburgh, on Sept. 8.

The $30 game offers five top prizes of $3 million and still has four grand prize wins remaining. There are two wins left of $300,000, and 10 wins of $30,000 remaining.

The game card features eight stars at the top (winning numbers) and 25 cash icons, along with five bonus images. When the winning numbers match your numbers, you win. There are also symbols that can triple the amount shown (3x), deliver every prize (Xtreme), or triple any prize in the play area (3XMULT).

One month, two $3 million jackpots for PA Lottery players

Another $3 million victory was claimed on the other side of Pennsylvania, at a Wawa in West Chester, Chester County. That player brought home a jackpot from the $3,000,000 Payout scratch-off game and claimed the prize this past week.

In that game, the winning numbers are represented by eight question marks. Your numbers are represented by 25 dollar signs, and seven stars serve as bonus symbols.

The $30 game has five top prizes of $3 million, with two of them still remaining. Four additional prizes of $300,000 also remain. This game can also deliver an instant win of $3,000 (WIN$3K) and 455 of those prizes have yet to be claimed.

Could September beat PA Lottery’s $197 million win total from August?

September is proving to be a profitable month for Pennsylvania Lottery players. Jackpot wins materialized in locations all across the state.

A player in Pittsburgh purchased a winning ticket for the Pennsylvania Lottery Cash 5 with Quick Cash drawing on Sept. 14. The ticket matched all five balls (2-9-14-15-19) to win $570,000 before withholding. The In-N-Out Corner Market on Penn Avenue earned a $5,000 bonus for selling the winning ticket.

In the Pennsylvania Lottery Match 6 Lotto drawing on Sept. 7, a player from Lehigh County won a $500,000 jackpot. The winning ticket, sold at the Quick Stop Mini Mart on Walbert Avenue in Allentown, matched all six winning numbers (3-14-15-29-34-45) to earn the $500,000 prize.

Also on Sept. 7, two players purchased winning tickets for the Pennsylvania Lottery Match 6 Lotto drawing. One ticket was sold by the Can Do Convenience store on South Poplar Street in Hazelton, Luzerne County. The other ticket was sold at Redner’s Warehouse Market on N. 5th Street in Reading.

Both tickets matched all six balls drawn (4-6-7-21-34-40) to win a split of the $620,000 jackpot ($310,000 each).

A player in the Pittsburgh suburb of West Mifflin won $350,000 in the Pennsylvania Lottery Cash 5 with Quick Cash drawing on Sept. 6. The ticket matched all five balls drawn (2-4-11-21-26) to capture the jackpot.

A player in Warrington also won $1.3 million in the Pennsylvania Lottery Match 6 Lotto drawing on Sept. 1. The ticket matched all six winning numbers (7-9-15-30-35-43) to bring home the jackpot. The player purchased the ticket at the Fine Wine and Good Spirits on Easton Road.

It’s a good time to be a PA Lottery player

The September wins continue a trend of notable triumphs for PA Lottery players. In August, scratch-off players claimed more than $197 million in prizes, including individual jackpots of $3 million and $1 million.

Certainly, some other big ones will land later this month. And for those PA Lottery players, life will change in an instant.
