Several Pennsylvania Lottery players connected on massive jackpots recently, earning local residents $1 million on multiple occasions. The PA Lottery already features plenty of enticing games, but it continues to deliver new titles regularly this summer, as well.

The jackpots arrived from opposite corners, but each one contained six zeroes. The first $1 million was claimed on June 29.

A player from Greene County in Pennsylvania’s southwest corner purchased a Price is Right scratch-off ticket at Sheetz that won the top prize of $1 million. The $20 ticket based on the iconic game show features five $1 million jackpots. Two top prizes still remain according to the PA Lottery website.

Another $1 million winner appeared on July 5 in Lansdowne, Delaware County, in the state’s southeast corner. The PA Lottery announced that a Mega Millions player had correctly matched all five numbers in that Friday’s Mega Millions drawing (1-27-29-38-62), hitting everything except for the yellow Mega Ball 12.

The player won $1 million minus withholding. And the retailer, Travers Food Market on Shadeland Avenue, will receive a $5,000 bonus for selling the ticket.

PA Lottery players finished June with a flourish

The $1 million jackpots highlight a recent hot streak for some PA Lottery players. Other big wins include the following:

On June 23, three players purchased winning tickets in the Match 6 lotto drawing. Players from Allegheny, Lycoming, and Delaware County, each matched all six numbers (4-10-11-27-47) to share a jackpot worth more than $2 million. Each individual prize is worth $666,667 before withholding.

A player in Luzerne County purchased a Match 6 lotto ticket from the Turkey Hill on Airport Road that had all six winning numbers (3-16-26-29-32-47), to win a $590,000 jackpot in the June 27 drawing.

In the Pennsylvania Lottery Cash 5 with Quick Cash drawing on June 24, a player in Berks County matched all five balls (4-7-11-20-21). The ticket, which was purchased at the Turkey Hill on New Holland Road in Mohnton, won $200,000.

PA Lottery Cash Corners could make you an instant millionaire

In other news, the PA Lottery has released a number of new games to keep players entertained this summer. Here’s a quick rundown:

$1,000,000 Cash Corner$

A $20 match-style game that features five top prizes of $1 million. Players scratch to reveal seven pink dollar signs and 20 cash symbols. In each corner, there are also special dollar signs.

If your numbers match any winning number, players receive that prize. Players can also win by revealing a stack of cash or “$1MIL” in one of the corner spots, which could bring up to $1 million in prize money.

Your overall chances of winning a prize with the $1,000,000 Cash Corner$ are listed as 1:3.46.

Gus

The famous “keep on scratchin” groundhog is featured on this $5 scratch-off match game. Gus, Pennsylvania’s “second-most-famous groundhog,” stands in the middle of the card with five Polaroid-picture style symbols in the bottom left (winning numbers) and 12 cameras in the lower right (your numbers).

When those numbers match, players win the prize shown. A groundhog (Gus) symbol brings an instant win and a bow tie symbol delivers all 12 prizes. The Gus scratch-off ticket has 10 top prizes of $200,000, with overall prize odds of 1:4.30.

The Lucky Spot

The $2 scratch-off ticket has players scratch the word “spot” in the middle of the game’s title to get started. Then, players must reveal the numbers behind ten different circles stuffed with cash. If two like prize amounts appear, players win that prize.

A “lucky” symbol delivers an instant win and a “Win10” symbol brings $10. The overall prize odds of The Lucky Spot game are 1:4.45.

New PA online lottery games feature progressive jackpots

In addition to the new scratch-off games, the Pennsylvania Lottery also has new online and Fast Play titles.

The online game is Mine Blowing Jackpot, a progressive jackpot title featuring prize multipliers and two bonus games, including the progressive.

The Fast Play games include the following:

  • It’s Your Lucky Day: A $5 sunshine and rainbow-themed match game featuring three top prizes of $75,000.
  • Money Magnet: A $2 magnet-themed game with a progressive top prize of $11,106 when last checked. There are three progressive top prizes overall.
  • Cash in a Flash: A $1 black and yellow progressive game featuring five progressive top prizes of at least $2,500. The progressive total was estimated at $3,363 recently.

With a series of new titles and some seven-figure jackpots, the PA Lottery has already had a busy summer. But July is just getting underway still, so the lottery’s summer fun is certain to continue.
