The 2022 World Series of Poker is upon us, and for so many players, the ultimate goal is that prestigious gold bracelet. And now, Pennsylvania poker players have an opportunity to participate from the comfort of their own home.
WSOP PA is offering eight online bracelet events exclusive to the state of Pennsylvania. The first bracelet was claimed on Monday, with additional weekly tournaments running through mid-July.
This year a total of 29 online bracelets will be awarded. Eight identical events will run in Pennsylvania and Michigan, with another 13 available for players in New Jersey and Nevada. Last year, Pennsylvania played host to just one online bracelet event.
PA poker players can also compete for 18 Online Circuit rings in June (schedule below).
Satellite into the 2022 WSOP Main Event and Online Bracelet events
WSOP.com PA is running daily satellites for the 2022 Main Event that kicks off in Las Vegas on July 3rd. Every day in June, at least one Main Event package ($10,000 worth of WSOP buy-in chips) will be up for grabs. Qualifiers start at 6:30 p.m. ET.
Pennsylvania players can also play satellites to get into PA online bracelet events on the cheap. Check the client for details on the latest schedule and you could be taking your shot at a bracelet for minimal investment right from home.

WSOP 2022 PA Online Bracelet Series schedule
The eight PA bracelet events offer buy-ins ranging from $400 up to $1,000. The series began last Sunday with the Big $500. A total of 270 entries (including 66 re-entries) combined for a prize pool of $121,500. After 9 hours and 23 minutes of play, “el_taco” outlasted the field to collect $30,970 and the first PA WSOP online bracelet of the summer. But seven more remain.
The rest of the events will run weekly until July 17, where the Summer Saver will close out the series with the eighth and final online event in Pennsylvania. The only exception to the Sunday schedule is Saturday, July 16 when a Lucky 7s Second Chance tournament will play out.
The largest buy-in on the PA WSOP schedule is the Online Bracelet Championship on Sunday, July 10 which costs $1,000.

2021 PA WSOP Online Winner
Last year’s solo 2021 WSOP PA online bracelet winner was David Eldridge, who earned his first ever WSOP bracelet and won $41,553 for his efforts. Eldridge, a Pennsylvania resident, took down the tournament that attracted 171 entries. The prize pool of $153,900 was split amongst the 30 finalists. Eldridge’s previous best finish at a WSOP event was a fourth-place finish in the 2015 $1,500 Pot-Limit Hold’em event.

2022 WSOP PA Player of the Year
The World Series of Poker is adding a new wrinkle this year. Players in Pennsylvania can compete for the World Series of Poker Online Pennsylvania Player of the Year.
The Player of the Year winner will receive a cash prize of $10,000, a World Series of Poker Player of the Year ring (an approximate value of $1,000) as well as $1,500 in online tournament tickets (1-$500 ticket and 1-$1,000 ticket).
New venue, live events
The World Series of Poker got underway this past Tuesday, May 31 in Las Vegas and will run until Wednesday, July 20. The full WSOP series features 88 live events in addition to the online varieties.
The World Series of Poker is the longest running tournament in the world, and features a comprehensive slate of tournaments for every major poker variation.
For those heading to Las Vegas, the WSOP moved from the Rio to the all new on-strip location at Bally’s and Paris casinos. The WSOP live streams are back at PokerGO (subscription required), which will stream 21 WSOP gold bracelet final tables. And of course, PokerGO will also stream the $10,000 Main Event in July.
