Proof of that principle just arrived in Philadelphia. Last week, a lottery player in Philadelphia won a $3 million jackpot in the $30 My Three Million scratch-off game.
The ticket was sold at the ACME Market on Snyder Avenue, which will receive a $10,000 bonus for selling the winner.
The My Three Million game has six top prize values of $3 million, $300,000, $30,000, $5,000, $1,000, and $500. Smaller prize winnings are also possible.
Certainly, the Philadelphia player is happy to have hit the biggest one. The win continues an impressive string of jackpots for PA Lottery players.
In April, scratch-off players claimed more than $226 million in total prizes, including a top prize of $5 million.
PA Lottery draw games produce six-figure payouts
In draw games, a winning ticket in the May 12 PA Lottery Cash 5 with Quick Cash drawing brought home a $350,000 jackpot. The ticket, which was purchased at a Rite-Aid in Reading, matched all five numbers, 1-15-17-22-28, to win the massive prize.
The PA Lottery’s press release noted that 12,700 other Cash 5 with Quick Cash tickets were also winners in that drawing.
And a few days later, in the May 14 drawing, a lottery player in Honesdale also captured a six-figure jackpot. The winning ticket matched all five balls (1-9-13-15-20) to win $200,000 before withholding.
In addition, according to a news release, 11,200 other Cash 5 with Quick Cash tickets also earned prizes in that drawing.
