The Sweet 16 is set.

After 52 games of pure madness and millions of busted brackets, the first weekend of the 2022 NCAA Men’s Basketball Tournament ended Sunday night, leaving 16 teams left to fight for a national title.

March Madness in Philadelphia

Sweet 16 action will continue Friday, March 25 before the Elite Eight games on Saturday, March 26 & Sunday, March 27. So, if you want to experience the NCAA Tournament in Philadelphia first-hand, now is your chance.

The Wells Fargo Center in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania will be hosting the East Regional action throughout both rounds, and the people of Philadelphia are ready to show the world why we’re the best fans in the world.

Which NCAA Tournament Teams Are Playing in Philadelphia?

Saint Peter’s

A #15-seed, Saint Peter’s, took out #2-seed Kentucky in the opening round and then beat Murray State by double digits 10 to reach the Sweet 16 for the first time in school history. You could call this team the Rocky Balboa of the 2022 NCAA Tournament.  We love underdog stories here in Philadelphia, so I think you’ll see most fans at the Wells Fargo Center cheering for Saint Peter’s when they take on #3-seed Purdue.

No. 3 Purdue

The Cinderella story may just come to an end as they face a stacked Purdue team on Friday. One of Purdue’s top players, Jaden Ivey, has been clutch all tournament so far, and the 7-foot center, Zach Edey,  is almost impossible to guard.

No. 4 UCLA

The #4-seed UCLA is back for a bit of vengeance from last April when exited the Final Four last April on Hail Mary shot in overtime by Gonzaga’s Jalen Suggs. The Bruins haven’t forgotten what that felt like and they are coming into this game with a huge chip on their shoulder.

No. 8 North Carolina

North Carolina took out #1-seed Baylor in overtime with an impressive 93-86 win. The Tarheels look to keep the upset train moving as they face #4-seed UCLA in another exciting Sweet Sixteen battle.
