“I feel great about my picks … really like some underdogs,” Colin Cowherd said before giving out his Week 13 picks.
Maybe he had some good luck pizza.
“I’m in a good mood today. I ate an entire sausage pizza last night, and I’ve never been prouder of myself. I can still feel it. I was stuffed halfway through it but nope … forge ahead,” he said on Friday’s episode of “The Herd.”
Cowherd went 3-2, his best record since Week 10.
Cowherd continues to doubt the Steelers
Colin Cowherd continues to disrespect the undefeated Pittsburgh Steelers.
Before the season, Cowherd forecasted a 16-0 record for the Baltimore Ravens and a sub-.500 7-9 for the Steelers.
On Thursday, you can count Cowherd in the “Steelers are the worst 11-0 team ever” group.
But wait … there is more hate. On Friday’s “The Herd,” Cowherd made playoff predictions based on current standings. In the AFC Divisional round, Cowherd picked the Bills to upset the top-seeded Steelers.
“I think Buffalo does several things well. I’m not sure what the Steelers do well. Now they are banged up. They are talented, but what can they lean on outside of sacks?”
After Washington beat the Pittsburgh Steelers 23-17, Cowherd gloated about betting Washington +8.5 on the Fox Bet app and went on to list the teams who are better than the Steelers, which included the Patriots and New York Giants.
“You hurt my feelings. I don’t like my feelings hurt, Steelers nation.”
Colin Cowherd defends Wentz
Philadelphia Eagles quarterback Carson Wentz is getting battered on the field. He’s been sacked a league-high 46 times. His decision-making, practice habits and whether or not it’s time to move on to rookie quarterback Jalen Hurts are other hits that keep coming. Colin Cowherd defended the maligned Wentz.
Wentz was pulled early in the second half of the Packers game with the Eagles trailing 20-3. Jalen Hurts finished the game, and on Tuesday, Pederson named Hurts the starter.

Cleveland Browns (+5.5) vs. Tennessee Titans
Boom Bet: 4X your money if Nick Chubb rushes for 100+ yards and scores a TD.
Cowherd’s pick: Cleveland
Colin’s final score: Titans 28, Browns 26
Cowherd said:
“I like Tennessee, but we are going crazy because they smoked the Colts. Here’s why I like Cleveland: The Brown’s offense is the No. 1 rushing offense in the league, and Nick Chubb has had over 100 yards in five straight games. The Titans defense will make Baker comfortable. They are the worst third down defense in the league and have the 29th most sacks. The Browns are 8-0 when Baker has passer rating over 70. This is a good matchup for Cleveland.”
Actual final score: Browns 41, Titans 35
Did Colin win? Yes
Los Angeles Rams (-3) vs. Arizona Cardinals
Colin’s pick: Rams
Colin’s final score: Rams 33, Cardinals 27
Cowherd said:
“Everybody is freaking out because the Rams lost to the Niners. It’s a bad matchup for Arizona. The Rams’ defense is top five in everything. The Rams are 6-0 against the Cardinals in the Sean McVay era. He’s got their number. Kyler Murray has played this defense twice and has struggled. Jalen Ramsey is the magic elixir for DeAndre Hopkins. Arizona is the most-penalized team in the league. Kyler Murray is hurt; they are not running the ball with him.”
Actual final score: Rams 38, Cardinals 28
Did Colin win? Yes
New England Patriots (-1) vs. Los Angeles Chargers
Colin’s pick: Patriots
Colin’s final score: Patriots 24, Chargers 20
Cowherd said:
“Bill Belichick is 20-5 against rookie quarterbacks, 7-0 in the last five years. Only Deshaun Watson has thrown for more than 300 yards against the Patriots defense this year. The Chargers defense gives up 28 a game. New England is limited, but they are a fumble away from going to overtime in Buffalo. They beat Arizona. This has been a very interesting team two out of three weeks. This is a coaching mismatch.”
Actual final score: Patriots 45, Chargers 0
Did Colin win? Yes
Philadelphia Eagles (+8.5) vs. Green Bay Packers
Colin’s pick: Eagles
Colin’s final score: Packers 27, Eagles 23
Cowherd said:
“I know this is kinda gross, but I’m going to take Philadelphia +8.5 here. I am. Say what you want. The Eagles have been ahead or within one possession in the fourth quarter every game this year. They gave Pittsburgh and Baltimore everything. They came back and covered against Seattle. I’m not talking about winning games, I’m talking about covering the spread. They are 7-3 in their last 10 games as a dog of 6+ points. Their defense has 36 sacks; only the Steelers have more. What do we know about the Packers? They don’t like to be uncomfortable. Philadelphia gets in your face and puts pressure on your quarterback. It’s going to be an ugly game.”
Actual final score: Packers 30, Eagles 16
Did Colin win? No
Buffalo Bills vs. San Francisco 49ers (+1.5)
Colin’s pick: 49ers
Colin’s final score: 49ers 26, Bills 23
Cowherd said:
“The number has moved some. The Bills’ rushing defense is not great, and the Niners are getting healthier. You can run the football on Buffalo. Buffalo is traveling all the way west again. With Garoppolo, they threw for 230 ypg; with Nick Mullens, they throw for 270 ypg. The season is on the line for San Francisco. Buffalo is a playoff team, they have room.”
Actual final score: Bills 34, 49ers 24
Did Colin win? No
