“This is the best Blazin’ 5 I’ve had this year,” Colin Cowherd said before giving out his Week 10 picks

This is one of the instances when Colin was right. He went 4-1 and correctly called the New York Giants upset of the Philadelphia Eagles.

His Boom Bet, the Miami Dolphins to win and Tua Tagovailoa to throw two TDs, turned out to be a winner, too.

This is the third time this season Cowherd has posted a 4-1 record. His overall record after 10 weeks is 24-25-1.

Cowherd underestimated the Steelers

They weren’t a part of his Blazin’ 5, but the Pittsburgh Steelers beat the Cincinnati Bengals 36-10 to move to 9-0.

Colin Cowherd 2020 Week 10 NFL picks

Cowherd’s Blazin’ 5 airs Friday on The Herd at 1 p.m. EST. We break down his picks for you here and follow up on Monday with his results.

If Fox Bet Sportsbook users wager on Cowherd’s “Boom Bet” and it wins, they usually quadruple their winnings.

Tampa Bay Buccaneers (-6) vs. Carolina Panthers

Cowherd’s pick: Buccaneers

Colin’s final score: Buccaneers 33, Panthers 21

Cowherd said:

“Pretty easy one here. I’m all over it. Good players who get humiliated on national TV are almost always good the next week. Tom Brady is 0-2 against the Saints. He’s 6-1 against everyone else this year. After a 3+ INT game, he is 6-2. The Bucs defense still forces the most turnovers in the league and is tied for the most interceptions. The Panthers are a fun story, but there is a reason they have lost four straight games. They are not that good. Christian McCaffrey is not going to play.”

Actual final score: Buccaneers 46, Panthers 23

Did Colin win? Yes

Philadelphia Eagles vs. New York Giants (+3.5)

Colin’s pick: Giants

Colin’s final score: Giants 23, Eagles 21

Cowherd said:

This is one of my favorite picks of the week. Like it, I love it. I think the Giants are going to win. Moneyline bet, maybe I already did. Doug Pederson is 1-3  off a bye. He’s not one of those coaches who is great off a bye. Carson Wentz is the most hit and most sacked quarterback in the NFL. He does get a little healthier this week with some guys coming back. The Giants are 5-1 against the spread in their last six because the bettors haven’t caught onto it. They are a good football team but not a great football team. Their defense has forced 15 turnovers this year; only Tampa has more. The Giants are a better team than Philadelphia.”

Actual final score: Giants 27, Eagles 17

Did Colin win? Yes

Los Angeles Chargers vs. Miami Dolphins (-2.5)

Boom Bet: Turn $20 into $70 if Tua tosses two TDs and Miami wins

Colin’s pick: Dolphins

Colin’s final score: Dolphins 26, Chargers 20

Cowherd said:

What happens when something is random and then becomes a trend? Here’s a trend: I like Miami -2.5. I think what’s happened to the Chargers is now a trend. They are not well-coached at the end of games. They are 1-6 in one-possession games this year, and they were bad in one-possession games last year. Their two wins have come over the Bengals and Jags. Tua looked really good last week. We know the Dolphins defense is good. Their offense is top 10 and average 28 ppg. I think this is going to be a wildly entertaining game. But I’m betting on the better defense, the home team with better momentum and a big coaching edge to the Dolphins.

Actual final score: Dolphins 29, Chargers 21

Did Colin win? Yes

Seattle Seahawks vs. Los Angeles Rams (-2.5)

Colin’s pick: Rams

Colin’s final score: Rams 32, Seahawks 26

Cowherd said:

“A lot of people like Seattle; I like the Rams. Jared Goff is 24-5 in his career when you sack him once or less. Seattle has no pass rush. Jared Goff will be comfortable. The Rams defense is actually the story. They rank second in PPG allowed, YPG allowed, pass YPG allowed and are first for yards per play allowed. Aaron Donald has given Seattle fits. He’s got 12 sacks in 12 games against Seattle, his most against any offense. He has sacked Russell Wilson more than any quarterback. The Rams are healthier and are coming off a bye.

Actual final score: Rams 23, Seahawks 16

Did Colin win?  Yes

San Francisco 49ers (+9.5) vs. New Orleans Saints

Colin’s pick: 49ers

Colin’s final score: Saints 28, 49ers 23

Cowherd said:

“Favorite pick of the week. Love the Niners. You think that’s the Saints? They haven’t played that well in three years. They aren’t going to look like that coming off a huge divisional win. The 49ers still have a lot of good players, and after getting humiliated by Green Bay on Thursday Night Football, with a little extra time for Kyle Shanahan, I like it. In Vegas, they think Nick Mullens is about a point-and-a-half less than Jimmy Garoppolo, and he wasn’t playing well. This is also the 49ers’ season this week.

Actual final score: Saints 27, 49ers 13

Did Colin win? No
